Artsakh man accidentally crossed into Azerbaijani-held territory – NSS
An Artsakh man lost his way and accidentally crossed into Azerbaijani-held territory, where he was detained by Azerbaijani forces, the National Security Service (NSS) of Artsakh reported on Friday.
The man, identified only by initials as S.S. (born in 1956), is a resident of Chartar, a town in the Martuni region.
The civilian was reported missing at around 1pm.
Russian peacekeepers were immediately alerted about the incident. Negotiations on the return of the citizen to the Armenian side are underway, the NSS said.
