Domestic production of Russian Sputnik Light vaccine underway in Armenia
The production of the Russian single-component Sputnik Light vaccine is underway in Armenia, the ministry of healthcare reported. According to the source, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan and the Minister of Economy Vahan Qerobyan toured the pharmaceutical company on Monday where the vaccine is being manufactured and got familiarized with the production process.
"The state will soon launch a tender procedure after which the vaccine will enter the civil circulation. Sputnik Light will be used for citizens who are 18 years old," Minister Avanesyan said.
To remind, the registration of the Sputnik Light one-shot vaccine in Armenia was announced in September.
