Armenia records 95 new Covid cases in 24 hours
Armenia has confirmed 95 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 340,818 as of 11 a.m. Monday, December 6, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 3,308 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 5.
778 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 321,884.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 8 to 7,691. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,456 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 9,787 active cases. As many as 2,405,279 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
