Armenian, Russian FMs discussed issues concerning the 3+3 format
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held on Wednesday a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, press department at the ministry reported. According to the source, Mirzoyan and Lavrov discussed a wide range of issues on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
During the conversation, the importance of full resumption of the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict within the mandate and the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship was stressed.
The interlocutors also touched upon the implementation process of the obligations undertaken by the sides in the trilateral statements from November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021
FM Mirzoyan stressed that the belligerent rhetoric by the Azerbaijani leadership and threats of use of force are serious threats to regional stability and security.
As the ministry detailed, the sides also discussed issues related to the 3+3 format as well as issues of regional and international agenda.
