Clear ice observed on number of roads in Armenia
All interstate roadways in the territory of Armenia are open, according to the update by the ministry of emergency situations. Black ice is observed as of 09:20 on December 9 on roads of Sisian region, in certain places of Saravan and Vardenyats passes. Fog reported on roads of Akhuryan region with visibility of 100 meters.
According to the source, the road crews are carrying out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand to ensure road traffic safety. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
