Armenia reports 300 new Covid cases, 19 deaths on Dec 9
Armenia has confirmed 300 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 341,768 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 7,741 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 8. 202 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 323,016.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 19 to 7,747. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,464 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 9,541 active cases. As many as 2,427,511 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
