Armenia reports 290 new Covid cases, 21 deaths on Dec. 11
Armenia has confirmed 347 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 342,405 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 6,700 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 10.
610 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 324, 834.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 21 to 7,788. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,474 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 8,309 active cases. As many as 2,440,627 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
