MP: Security is the number one issue on the agenda for Artsakh Armenians
Security is the most important issue for Artsakh Armenians, according to MP Tigran Abrahamyan from the opposition With Honor faction.
"In Artsakh, security is the number one issue on the agenda at the political, social level and simply for the average Artsakh man," he wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
The MP stated all issues are related to the security systems, the uncertainty over Artsakh’s final status and future.
“Development programs, social and infrastructure projects are important, people need them, however security is at the core of any important decision,” Abrahamyan noted.
“It is obvious that there are issues which do not depend only on Armenia and Artsakh and huge diplomatic efforts are required for their settlement, but there are problems, the solution of which is on the all-Armenian platform. However, effective steps are not taken even in this regard,” he stated.
The opposition MP stressed the need for systemic solutions both in Armenia and Artsakh simultaneously.
