Armenia reports 180 new Covid cases, 18 deaths on Dec. 16
Armenia has confirmed 180 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 343,157 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, December 16, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 7,571 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 15.
470 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 327,029.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 18 to 7,874. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,486 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 6,767 active cases. As many as 2,464,749 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
