Armenia reports 193 fresh Covid cases on Dec. 17
Armenia has confirmed 193 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 343,350 as of 11 a.m. Friday, December 17, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 7,069 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 16.
510 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 327,539.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 11 to 7,885. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,489 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 6,437 active cases. As many as 2,479,389 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
