Armenia confirms 72 new Covid cases on December 20
Armenia has confirmed 72 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 343,708 as of 11 a.m. Monday, December 20, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 4,897 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 19.
364 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 328,799.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 7,903. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,493 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,513 active cases. As many as 2,497,107 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
