Some roads closed, difficult to pass in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia as of Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
The roadway leading from the village of Zovuni to Korea gorge is temporarily closed due to the rockfall risk.
Vardenyats Pass, Goris-Sisian and Saravan-Zanger highways are difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.
Vardaghbyur-Bavra and Aparan-Aragats highways are partly covered with black ice.
Snowfalls are reported in Syunik Province, except for the town of Kapan.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
