Lars road closed due to snowfall hazard, 250 Armenian trucks accumulated at the border checkpoint
Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for trucks and partly for passenger vehicles due to abundant snow and snowfall hazard, Alik Media reports, adding around 250 Armenia trucks are accumulated on the Russian side.
"Precipitation in the form of snow is observed in Lars at present. Trucks are banned from the road because of dangers presented by snow, while passenger vehicles can pass through separate sections. Snow cleaning works are underway," the source reported, citing the representative of the Armenian Embassy in Georgia.
