Armenia records 152 new Covid cases in 24 hours
Armenia has confirmed 152 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 343,997 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 6,756 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 21.
153 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 329,281.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 7 to 7,921. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,494 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,301 active cases. As many as 2,509,795 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
