Some roads closed and difficult to pass in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia as of 08.00 December 23. As the ministry of emergency situations reports, the roadway leading from Amberd fortress to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province is closed. Due to the rockfall, the roadway leading from Zovuni village to Korea gorge is temporarily closed.
Vardenyats pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailors (chains need to be applied). Saravan-"Zanger" section (black ice) of Vayots dzor province, inter-community roadways of Shirak province, "Meghru sar" section and Gorayk-Tsghuk roadway of Syunik province are difficult to pass.
Black ice is noticed in Gegharkunik and Tavush provinces, on Gyumri-Bavra roadway of Shirak province, in Abovyan region of Kotayk province, on Tigranashen turns of Ararat province.
According to the information provided by the ministry of internal affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
