Armenia records 129 new Covid cases in 24 hours
Armenia has confirmed 129 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 344,126 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, December 23, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 6,885 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 22.
295 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 329,576.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 15 to 7,936. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,495 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,119 active cases. As many as 2,516,680 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
