‘Mayors come and go’: Hayk Marutyan says goodbye to Yerevan Municipality staff
Hayk Marutyan, who was removed as Yerevan mayor on Wednesday, said goodbye to the city hall staff while thanking them for three years of joint work on Thursday.
In particular, Marutyan highlighted that significant work had been carried out in all spheres during that period, the Yerevan Municipality reported.
"Our biggest achievement is that the residents of Yerevan have witnessed and experienced the daily changes," Marutyan said.
According to him, they went through “many trials” together and did it with honor.
"Mayors come and go, but the Armenian capital remains," Marutyan said.
He urged the Yerevan Municipality employees to continue serving the city and improving it.
