Armenia reports 135 fresh Covid cases on Dec. 24
Armenia has confirmed 135 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 344,261 as of 11 a.m. Friday, December 24, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 6,236 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 23.
407 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 329,983.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 3 to 7,939. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,496 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,843 active cases. As many as 2,522,916 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
