The takeoff of the Tyumen-Yerevan flight was interrupted due to suspicions of engine surge, the press service of the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office reported.  According to the source, during the takeoff run of the Utair aircraft, the aircraft commander reported a suspicion of engine surge, after which he reduced the speed and stopped the aircraft.

“The preliminary reason for the delay is a technical failure. 176 passengers were registered for the flight, including 18 children. The airline’s representative provides the necessary services. The situation is under the control of the prosecutor’s office, ”the message said, according to Ria Novosty news agency. 

It is noted that the Tyumen Transport Prosecutor’s Office organized an audit of the implementation of the legislation on flight safety.
