Some roads in Armenia covered with black ice
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia as of Saturday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Covered with black ice, Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.
Dilijan turns and Gyumri-Bavra roadway are also covered with black ice.
Fog is observed in the Ashotsk region of Shirak Province.
On December 25, from 12:30am to 5pm, the road section from Haghpat village to the border with Georgia (M-6 interstate roadway) will be closed because of rock blasting.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
