Armenia named most attractive foreign destination in January for Russian travelers
Around 70% of Russian tourists plan to travel domestically after the New Year holidays, while about 30% hope they will be able to travel abroad, according to the results of the search data of OneTwoTrip online ticket booking service. St. Petersburg ranks second in popularity among Russian cities, followed by Sochi.
According to the data, that cover the period from January 10 to 31, Armenia is the most popular destination for Russian travelers after the holidays. Uzbekistan, UAE, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are other popular foreign destinations this year.
