Armenia’s crisis management center handled 434 calls in the past week
The National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations responded to a total of 434 calls from December 20-26, of which 150 were emergency cases.
The number included 73 fire calls, 1 collapse case, 12 suicide attempts, 56 road traffic accidents, as well as 164 household calls, the ministry of emergency situations reported on Monday.
A total of 101 people were affected. 7 citizens were rescued due to rapid rescue operations. The past week also saw 8 poisoning cases.
The crisis management center reported a total of 19 fatalities last week.
57 vehicles got stuck in the period due to the weather conditions or other circumstances. Rescuers rendered assistance to 468 citizens, taking 335 vehicles to a safe place.
