Black ice observed on certain roads in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia, according to the road situation update by the ministry of emergency situation. The roadway leading from Amberd fortress to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province is closed. Vardenyats Pass (black ice is noticed) is difficult to pass for trucks with trailеrs (chains need to be applied).
Black ice is noticed on Gyumri-Bavra roadway of Shirak province, on Verin-Khotanan-Aghvani-Tatev roadway, on the section called "Meghru sar" and on Sisian-"Zanger" roadsection of Syunik province.
According to the information provided by the Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
