Gyumri-Bavra roadway covered with clear ice
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the territory of Armenia, the ministry of emergency situations reported. The roadway leading from Amberd fortress to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province is closed. Vardenyats Pass (black ice is noticed) is difficult to pass for trucks with trailеrs (chains need to be applied).
Black ice is observed on Gyumri-Bavra roadway of Shirak province, on roadways of Syunik province, the source said.
Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles, according to the update of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
