Armenia adds 88 new Covid cases on Dec. 29
Armenia has confirmed 88 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 344,737 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 6,788 Covid-19 tests were conducted on December 28.
125 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 331,152.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 5 to 7,961. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,501 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,123 active cases. As many as 2,553,654 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
