Flyone Armenia allowed to operate Yerevan-Istanbul charter flights
The Armenian civil aviation authorities have granted a permit to Flyone Armenia to operate charter flights on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route, Flyone Armenia Board Chairman Aram Ananyan told TASS on Thursday.
"Several days ago Flyone Armenia applied to the aviation authorities of Armenia and Turkey for permission to perform charter flights on the Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan route. We are grateful to the Armenian aviation authorities for their positive response," he said, adding that the company is now waiting for Turkey's permission.
Earlier on December 16, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that Ankara was considering the bids from the Turkish and Armenian airlines for Istanbul-Yerevan-Istanbul flights.
