Some roads closed, difficult to pass in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia as of Monday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trailer trucks.
Roads in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, Gegharkunik Provinces, Vardenyats Pass, Gyumri-Bavra, Artik-Alagyaz highways of Shirak Province and Sisian-Zanger road of Syunik Province are partly covered with black ice.
Fog is observed in the town of Goris in Syunik.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles.
