Armenia confirms 29 new Covid cases, 6 deaths on Jan. 3
Armenia has confirmed 29 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 345,036 as of 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 2,840 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the past day.
140 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 331,998.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 6 to 7,983. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,509 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,546 active cases. As many as 2,577,537 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
