
Armenia confirms 90 new Covid cases on Jan. 4
Armenia has confirmed 90 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 342,405 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 4,036 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the past day.
203 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 332,201.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 3 to 7,986. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,510 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,429 active cases. As many as 2,581,573 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
