Black ice observed on number of roads in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia, the ministry of emergency situations reported inn its daily update of the situation on the roads. The roadway leading from Amberd fortress to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province is closed. Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers.
Black ice is noticed in Aragatsotn, Ararat, Kotayk, Vayots dzor, Gegharkunik provinces, on Vardenyats Pass, on Gyumri-Bavra, Artik-Alagyaz roadways of Shirak province and on Sisian-"Zanger" roadway of Syunik province.
According to the information provided by the ministry of internal affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
