Armenian serviceman died on his way to hospital after suffering gunshot wound to the head
On December 31, at 10:50, a serviceman with gunshot wounds to the head was found in a military post of the N military unit in Vayots Dzor province, the ministry of defense reported. According to the ministry statement issued on Tuesday, the serviceman was identified as private Movses Aramayis Tadevosyan (born 2003), serving in the same military unit.
The serviceman died on his way to the military hospital, the ministry said, adding as a result of operative actions a fellow serviceman of Tadevosyan was arrested on suspicion of committing the crime. A probe is underway with all necessary measures being taken to ensure a comprehensive investigation of the case.
The defense ministry shares the heavy grief of the loss and expresses its support to Tadevosyan's family, friends and fellow servicemen.
