
Armenia reports 129 fresh Covid cases on Jan. 5
Armenia has confirmed 129 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 345,255 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 5,164 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 4.
103 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 332,304.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 3 to 7,989. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,511 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,451 active cases. As many as 2,586,737 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
