Wednesday morning update on road conditions
Some roads are closed or difficult to pass in Armenia as of Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass.
Snow has hit the Saravan-Zanger roadway and the town of Spitak in Lori Province.
The Yerevan-Sevan highway, Tigranashen turns, roads in Aragatsotn and Gegharkunik Provinces, Gyumri-Bavra and Artik-Alagyaz highways are partly icy.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles.
