18 cars stranded in Armenia in two days
On January 5-6, the National Crisis Management Center of the Rescue Service of the Armenian Emergencies Ministry received 16 emergency calls about cars stranded in various parts of the country, the ministry reported.
In particular, the vehicles were stuck in Yerevan, the town of Aparan, Tsaghkahovit, Kaniashir, Berkarat villages (Aragatsotn Province), Hrazdan, Tsaghkadzor (Kotayk Province), Vayk towns (Vayots Dzor Province), the city of Vanadzor (Lori Province), as well as in Ashotsk (Shirak Province) and Aragats villages (Armavir Province).
The rescuers dispatched to the scene took 18 cars out of the blockage and rendered necessary assistance to 35 citizens.
