
Armenia records 129 new Covid cases on Jan. 7
Armenia has confirmed 129 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 345,518 as of 11 a.m. Friday, January 7, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 3,899 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 6.
130 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 332,588.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 7,997. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,511 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,422 active cases. As many as 2,594,856 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
