Georgia reports 2,622 new coronavirus cases, 28 deaths in the past day
Georgia has reported 2,622 new cases of coronavirus, 1,126 recoveries and 28 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for the last 7 days stands at 8.65%, Agenda.ge reported.
A total of 28,922 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
Overall, 27,539 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 14,309 of them were rapid tests, while the remaining 13,230 were PCR tests. Georgia has had a total of 954,744 Covid-19 cases since February 26, 2020. 4,368 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,109 of them are in intensive care units. 274 patients are on artificial ventilation.
