Armenia sees decline in chocolate and sugar pastry production
The chocolate production volumes have dropped in Armenia in January-October 2021, the country's Statistical Committee reported in its updated data. According to the source, the total volumes of chocolate and sugar pastry production stood at 7 thousand 086.6 tons in the reported period, which is down by 8.5% over the indicated period of the previous year.
In 2020, 7 thousand 746.5 tones of chocolate and sugar pastry were produced in the country,
In the meantime, the total volumes of pastry production, including cakes and waffle stood at 10 thousand 874.7 tons, which is a 6.9% increase to compare with the production volumes of 2020.
