Saturday morning update on road conditions
Some roads are closed or difficult to pass in Armenia as of Saturday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trailer trucks.
Vardaghbyur-Bavra roadway of Shirak Province is partly icy.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles.
Winter tires are strongly recommended.
