Lawmaker suggests pressuring Azerbaijan over removing the combat posts near the civilian settlements in Artsakh
Lawmaker from "With Honour" faction Tigran Abrahamyan commented on Facebook the latest provocations of the Azerbaijani troops in Artsakh .
Abrahamyan reminds that over the past day three incidents have been registered in the country. The Azerbaijanis first targeted a civilian vehicle in direction of Karmir Shuka-Taghavard communities, which was subsequently set on fire, while in Nakhichevanik community of Askeran region intensive shooting was opened at four famers and a tractor conducting agricultural work. The third incidents refers to the stone throwing at a vehicle of Armenian civilian passing on a roadway near Shushi.
"All three incidents were registered yesterday, and their main commonality is that Azeris open targeted fire in direction of Armenian settlements, civilians to damage agricultural equipment, a civilian vehicle and wound people. From the perspective of the ongoing peacekeeping mission in Artsakh it would be appropriate to pressure on Azerbaijan to remove the combat posts which are located near Armenian settlements in Artsakh and may pose huge risks in different situations," Abrahamyan wrote.
The lawmaker reminded that in the post-war period there had been many cases when military posts had been removed in different locations through the interference of the Russian peacekeepers. "In this case, considering the Azerbaijani impudence, there is a chance to pressure Azerbaijan and make it remove the posts firing on civilians," Abrahamyan stressed.
