Another Armenian soldier confirmed dead in latest Azerbaijani attack
Another Armenian soldier has been found dead after the latest Azerbaijani attack, the Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The body of the victim, identified as Vahan Babayan (b. 2003), was found with a fatal gunshot wound in the eastern border area where a heavy firefight took place after Azerbaijani forces opened fire at Armenian combat positions, using drones and artillery.
The ministry shares the heavy grief of the loss and expresses its support to the soldier’s family and friends.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Defense Ministry said two Armenian soldiers, Artur Mkhitaryan and Rudik Gharibyan, were killed and two others were wounded in the fighting.
The wounded servicemen are in a stable condition.
