
Armenia reports 289 fresh Covid cases on Jan. 12
Armenia has confirmed 289 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 346,513 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 6,134 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 11.
83 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 333,200.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 4 to 8,010. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,514 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 3,789 active cases. As many as 2,620,189 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
