Robert Kocharyan offers condolences on passing of poet Razmik Davoyan
Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan expressed condolences on the demise of famous poet Razmik Davoyan.
"I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of great poet Razmik Davoyan. He was not only a renowned poet, but also a public figure concerned with the problems of his country, who did not stop calling for sobriety until the end of his life,” Kocharyan said in a condolence message shared on his official Facebook page.
"I extend my condolences to Razmik Davoyan's family and friends," he said.
Razmik Davoyan, one of the most prominent contemporary Armenian poets, passed away on Tuesday aged 82 after long illness.
