Fog, black ice observed on certain roads in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia, according to the latest update by the ministry of emergency situations. The roadway leading from Amberd fortress to Karin lake in Aragatsotn province is closed.
Vardenyats pass is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles. For trucks with trailеrs chains need to be applied. Inter-community roadways of Amasia region of Shirak province are difficult to pass.Fog is noticed in Talin region and in Ashtarak town of Aragatsotn province.
It is snowing on Saravan-"Zanger" roadway, in Shirak province, in Jermuk town of Vayots Dzor province, in Spitak town of Lori province, in Aparan town of Aragatsotn province, in Gavar town of Gegharkunik province, in Charentsavan and Hrazdan towns of Kotayk province. Black ice is formed on Aparan-Aragats roadway of Aragatsotn province.
Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
