Armenia reports 168 new Covid cases, one death on Jan. 17
Armenia has confirmed 168 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 347,785 as of 11 a.m. Monday, January 17, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 4,040 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 16.
46 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 333,655.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by one to 8,020. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,516 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,594 active cases. As many as 2,644,655 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
