Armenia reports 360 new Covid cases, 2 deaths on Jan. 18
Armenia has confirmed 360 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 348,145 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 4,597 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 17.
61 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 333,716.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 2 to 8,022. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,516 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 4,891 active cases. As many as 2,649,252 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
