Update on road conditions in Armenia
Some roads are closed or difficult to pass in Armenia as of Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the road linking Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is shut down.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for all vehicles.
Roads of Syunik, Aragatsotn and Shirak Provinces are partly icy.
Snowfall is reported in Kotayk, Aragatsotn, Armavir Provinces, Sevan (Gegharkunik Province), Vanadzor (Lori Province), Gyumri, Amasia, Akhuryan, Ashotsk (Shirak Province) and on Dilijan turns (Tavush Province).
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all types of vehicles.
