Armenia reports 563 fresh Covid cases on Jan. 19
Armenia has confirmed 563 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 348,708 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 5,285 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 18.
38 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 333,754.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 3 to 8,025. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,517 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 5,412 active cases. As many as 2,654,537 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
