
Armenia reports 688 fresh Covid cases on Jan. 24
Armenia has confirmed 688 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 352,399 as of 11 a.m. Monday, January 24, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 4,612 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 23.
176 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 334,394.
No new Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the country. The death toll stands at 8,028. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,523 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 8,454 active cases. As many as 2,679,525 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
