Holocaust Remembrance Week to be marked in Armenia
The Armenian Genocide Museum Institute will mark the Holocaust Remembrance Week from January 27 to February 2, the Institute said in a press statement. As part of the Remembrance Week a visit to the Holocaust Memorial is planned on January 27.
On January 29, Tali Nates, Director of the Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Center will deliver a public lecture on the topic "A Second-Generation Journey: From Schindler’s List to the Creation of the Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre," The event will take place at AGMI Conference Hall, at 11:00.
On February 2, an event dedicated to the Armenian rescuers of the Jews during the Holocaust will be held at AGMI Conference Hall. The event also features a meeting with Anna Khachatryan, granddaughter of Harutyun Khachatryan, the Yad Vashem Righteous among the nations.
