Snow reported in number of towns in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia, the ministry of emergency situations reported in its daily update. The roadways leading from "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province are closed.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers, (chains need to be applied). Black ice is noticed on roadways of Syunik province.
It is snowing in Kotayk province, in a section called Saravan-"Zanger", in Jermuk town of Vayots dzor province, in Aparan and Talin towns of Aragatsotn province, in Gavar town of Gegharkunik province.
According to the information provided by the ministry of internal affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
